Loesch still bashing Democrats and Sandra Fluke

It looks like Dana Loesch is still defending the right-wing smears against Sandra Fluke and blaming the Democrats for it. Her blogpost at Big "Journalism" today falsely accused the Democratic Party of dragging out the Limbaugh-Fluke controversy for their own gain.

It's the story that won't go away, the tactic Democrats keep dragging out and inflating with with artificial indignation to secure relevance. They do it because their presidential incumbent needs not just one political identity card -- he needs the whole deck. The administration's attempt to malign Rush Limbaugh and their collusion with MMfA to censor conservatives on the airwaves failed miserably, yet a bogeyman is still needed. Dutiful Hillary Clinton is trotted out to push the dead nontroversy, again. (And progressives insist that conservatives won't stop talking about it?) Clinton's time as the long-suffering silent spouse to her philandering Presidential husband has not blunted her appetite one iota for using women to push an agenda, as indicated by her recent interview with Andrea Mitchell. 

Hillary Clinton was noticeably absent when worse language or crass words were used by equally big names to describe Sarah Palin (her children), Michelle Bachmann; she was silent when local radio host misogynists slurred Wisconsin Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. Clinton apparently supports with her silence the verbal assault on these women because they're part of -- how did she name it? -- the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy. The difference is that Limbaugh apologized for the word he used to describe Fluke's action; most of the men who slurred the above-named women have never apologized. In fact, they defended their words. Even more -- the Obama administration (with its own history of workplace inequality) continue to support the men who use these terms. 

I don't particularly dig the language progressives use to describe conservative women. I didn't, and wouldn't, call for them to be censored over it however, because I'm not a pretend First Amendment supporter like these latter day fascists in Slutgate. What is objectionable is their complete double-standard on respect for women. It's not a War On Women unless progressives can claim some sort of offense for their female base. They ignore the actual War On Women -- the War On Conservative Women. For a group that fights for sex, drugs, and free expression, progressives sure do cop the Puritan sensibility pretty quick after a few "sluts." It's comical, transparent, and utterly square.

No, Dana, the REAL War On Women is being waged by people on the right, including you and Michelle Malkin. And it's YOU that's being the fascist, NOT Fluke, Clinton, MMFA, or the left.

On the other hand, 2008 Democratic Presidential candidate (who lost to current President Obama) and former First Lady (now currently Secretary of Defense) Hillary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea have defended Fluke from Limbaugh's attacks against her (and by extension, all Democratic-leaning women).

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, however,  had harsh word for Limbaugh when reminded of  the incident saying, “We’re better than that.” 

Chelsea Clinton spoke last week about Limbaugh’s comments while on a panel about women involved in politics. The former first daughter made the comments while defending Georgetown University student Sandra Fluke who had been ridiculed last month by Limbaugh as a “slut” and a “prostitute” for testifying before Congress in support of a government mandate requiring health insurance to cover contraception.
“She and I actually have something in common,” Chelsea Clinton said.  “We’ve both have been attacked by Rush Limbaugh.” 

“Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is also a White House dog?” Limbaugh said on his television show before showing an image of the young Clinton.

Limbaugh and Loesch have lost this war.

Dana Loesch has no clue about the facts, smears Détente and Boehlert

In her blogpost at Big Journalism today, Dana Loesch baselessly accused Media Matters For America's Senior Fellow Eric Boehlert of getting the dates wrong for Détente's song, Kill Rush. 

It was in response to my piece published last night on the media's choice to ignore the death threats against Rush Limbaugh by way of progressives's newest anthem, "Kill Rush." 

Boehlert was too quick to spin without actually checking the facts.
What's that date? March 6? Considering Facebook doesn't post the current year date, it's March 6 of this year, meaning just a couple of weeks ago.  

Eric was wrong on two counts: the song was posted to Youtube in 2011, NOT in 2010. Also, did you see that at the bottom?

They went back and tagged "Sandra Fluke" on their video. Boehlert's spin is that the video was posted in 2010 (it wasn't) and that it isn't in response to Limbaugh (they made it so).

The song was originally recorded in 2010, not 2011 or later. Yet another pathetic example of Boehlert Derangement Syndrome displayed by Loesch.

Loesch wrote another blogpost regarding the band's controversial Kill Rush song.

I don't know what offends me more:the hackneyed, drop D insipidness, the wannabe-Kittie/Phil Anselmo front woman, or the actual lyrics to "Kill Rush." Or maybe the media's complete refusal to acknowledge it?  

Myspace is still around for bands like the ironically named Detente, oh, excuse me, DÉTENTE (ne faut pas oublier l'accent Français!). A quick scan of their Facebook profile shows they formed around when I was in kindergarten, got a touch of secondhand glory by opening for bigger bands (like Megadeth) in those groups's infancy, and then those bands went on to actually, you know, write good music and sell records. Bands like this are why people hate metal, most of which is structurally complex and difficult to play well. DÉTENTE has scored the most attention they'll ever receive in their lives (sadly, none of it will translate to album sales) because of a song they've written called "Kill Rush."  

Media Matters repurposed a three-year-old Limbaugh censorship/book burning campaign to try to drive the talker off the airwaves, when they're not distracted by calling for the censorship of everyone else with whom they disagree -- do you think they will take up a campaign to drive UUAAGH DÉTENTE off Facebook?

Yet another right-wing moron, The Admiral at the Lake Minnetonka Liberty blog, suggested that all the members of Détente should be dead.

Yup. I am calling for the demise of all members of the shitty metal band called Detente.  Oh yeah, I’m “dead” serious. Just as serious as they are for calling for Rush Limbaugh to be killed. They even wrote and performed a song advocating it. Well, what goes around comes around. 

Funny thing about the left, Detente will be excused for exorcising their 1st Amendment rights, I will probably be labeled a hater, dangerous, an advocator of violence, hell, I might even get a knock on the door from the police or FBI. But when the left does it, “that’s different.” Well you know what? It’s not different. It’s time for us to take off the kid gloves and slap those leftist bitches in to submission. Dana Loesch defends the sexist Oxycontin Smuggling Hypocrite's attacks on Sandra Fluke

In her articles at Big Journalism today, Dana Loesch continues her war on Fluke and made a big stink about "the left silencing Rush Limbaugh for speaking the truth."

Several readers sent along this link to a user-created petition calling on President Obama to kick Rush Limbaugh off the air. Admittedly, at first glance my thought was "whiskey tango foxtrot?" 

I wondered then, if the White House petition site would allow for a petition asking the President to lay off Limbaugh (#LayOffLimbaugh?)  

So I created a petition. Everyone can make one, right? Sign and spread the word. 

In a sane world, it is Sandra Fluke and not The Drugster that's telling the truth. 

The petition that has Limbaugh taken off of Armed Forces Radio currently (as of 8:20PM CST, 03.05.2012) has around 11,400+ signatures.

Contrast that with the one Loesch created, which has currently (as of 8:20PM CST, 03.05.2012) just over 100+ signatures.

She also whined about "not getting her Presidential call."

Ed Schultz called Laura Ingraham a "talk slut" and Laura Ingraham didn't receive a Presidential phone call. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann was called a "bitch" by way of Fishbone's "Lyin' Ass Bitch" intro song on Jimmy Fallon's show and didn't receive a Presidential phone call. Michelle Malkin was called a "mashed-up bag of meat" by Keith Olbermann and she didn't receive a Presidental phone call. Sarah Palin was called a "c*nt" by Bill Maher and she didn't receive a Presidential phone call. 

Countless other conservative women, like myself, have over the past several days been threatened with death and rape on Twitter and in email if we ask why we should pay for another woman's contraception. We didn't get Presidential phone calls. Why? Because Barack Obama can't use us to make an argument for birth control to hide his attack on the First Amendment.  

A show debuted recently called "GCB," changed to such after the outcry over its full title, "Good Christian Bitches." Where's the Presidential phone call to good Christian women?
Where is the Presidential phone call to all of the women who may have been offended by the recent "Slut Walks?"  

It's why this outrage is phony. If progressives were truly consistent and genuine, they would be offended at all variations of the use, and not just when it's used by their side. If the media wasn't to blatant in their efforts to run defense for the Obama administration, they'd note this, as well.
That being said, where's my phone call? 

Grow up, Dana! Progressives and liberals have in fact called Schultz to the carpet for his sexist rhetoric against Laura Ingraham and apologized for it immediately, unlike a certain right-wing radio host who repeatedly savaged Sandra Fluke and "apologized" only when he began losing sponsors. And ABC's GCB gives a proper insight on how certain members of the Christian Right act like hypocrites.

Limbaugh's show has been kicked off of two radio stations so far (KPUA in Hilo, Hawaii was the first one and WBEC in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is the second) and likely more to come. Bain Capital, the company that 2012 Republican Party Presidential candidate Mitt Romney once ran, is the partial owner of Clear Channel (who broadcasts his show along with others on the right such as Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and even left-leaning Randi Rhodes, via subsidiary Premiere Radio Networks) and one of two minority share owners of primarily NBC/Comcast-owned The Weather Channel.

Yet another edition of the Queen of Breitfartland badmouthing Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke.  Big "Journalism" editor-in-chief Dana Loesch falsely accusing REPUBLICANS such as Carly Fiorina (who lost the California Governor race to Democrat Jerry Brown and former HP CEO), Speaker of the House John Boehner, and Presidential Candidate and former US Senator from Pennsylvania Rick Santorum of "falling for the 'leftist media' narratives."

The Obama administration withered for several weeks under the intense criticism from Catholic leaders regarding the forced violation of religious liberty within the HHS mandate. In an effort to turn the tables, Democrats suggested that the GOP want to abridge women’s rights because Republicans expect women to obtain and pay for their own birth control. This afternoon John Boehner, Carly Fiorina, and Rick Santorum bravely provided cover for the President and the ridiculous narrative of “the war on women.” 

Each of them utterly failed in this response, but unlike Santorum, Boehner and Fiorina aren’t running a presidential campaign with the hopes of becoming the nominee so they can battle the media in the general. 

This reason right here is why Republicans defeat themselves: It doesn’t matter what Barack Obama’s record is if Republicans so willingly allow the media to reframe a debate about religious liberty as a fight over women’s rights. 

More have admonished Limbaugh’s description of Sandra Fluke than admonished a 30 year-old woman embarrassing herself before congress by testifying that she simply cannot stop getting it on and her inability to control her urges constitutes infringing upon everyone else for a bailout. 

I’ve not heard a single Republican politician stand up to the media narrative on this. Instead of projecting surrogate modesty towards Fluke, they project it towards Limbaugh, who is calling the truth for what it is. Fluke, a 30 year-old (presented as a 23 year-old college coed by the media) women’s activist/professional student, is likely not having monogamous sex with the same man approximately 2.74 times a day, every day, for three straight years (in order to satisfy the calculations about which she felt confident enough to present during a congressional testimony). 

The real war on women is being perpetuated upon us by our own sex; women who seek to place us under the control of a pimp-daddy government by demanding it cover all our needs, in exchange for control, or force private entities to do  so in its stead.

Ms. Loesch, you are an embarrassment to not only your own gender, but humanity, by defending the Oyxcontin-smuggling sexist Rush Limbaugh. And as for Limbaugh, he rightfully should be condemned for his vile, vicious, pervertedly obscene, and sexist remarks directed at Fluke. Even conservatives, such as Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown and former Bush 43 speechwriter David Frum, have condemned him as well.

On a side note, Loesch's boss and notorious hack Andrew Breitbart died Thursday morning.

CNN's own colleagues condemn Loesch's vile remarks

Today, we found out that even some of CNN's own colleagues (and Rush Limbaugh) think fellow tasteless paid "contributor" Dana Loesch's classless rant regarding the US Marines Urination Scandal on yesterday's The Dana Show was over the line.

Several CNN on-air journalists are criticizing Dana Loesch's recent comments supporting the U.S. Marines who allegedly urinated on the dead bodies of Taliban forces.
Loesch, a CNN contributor, made the comments during her radio show Thursday. Among other things, Loesch said of the incident: "I'd drop trou and do it too." 

Such views brought sharp criticism from some CNN on-air reporters.
"I can't imagine someone really thinking that, it is so outrageous," said one CNN reporter who requested anonymity. "I think she is trying to garner attention to herself, and that is sad. If that is what she truly believes, she has issues. If you look at that video, I don't care who you are, your stomach should turn. 

"The problem with these contributors is they aren't under the same guidelines journalists are, and CNN journalists are. We have very clear ways of doing business. When you have these people we bring in to spice up our airwaves, it is going to happen. It is concerning, obviously."
Another regular CNN journalist added: "I am of the school of thought, 'Why aren't we putting people who are knowledgeable on the air?' I'll just say 'Ewww.' I think it's in poor taste." 

A third CNN journalist who has been reporting on the story said Loesch is misguided in thinking that defending the Marines' alleged actions amount to being supportive of the military.

"If she is thinking that she is somehow supporting the military, any source in the military will tell you she is not," the journalist said. "It is so distasteful for the military. It is a black eye. Clearly, everyone I've talked to said that is not acceptable."
At least one regular CNN political contributor took issue with the comments and with CNN's handling of Loesch and other right-wing contributors:
"What's interesting is how the kid gloves are applied to outlandish comments made by the likes of Erick Erickson or Dana Loesch and how it has a negative impact on the CNN brand," said the contributor, who also requested anonymity. "There really is no pushback or no real conversation that says, 'Look, you make these kinds of comments or you write these kinds of wild, crazy stuff, that's just not what we're about.' It simply doesn't happen. I think there is fear of saying anything to them because they are Tea Party folks, and there has been a clear effort on the part of our political team to court that whole Tea Party thought process, if you will."

This afternoon on her radio show, she responded back to her critics, in her usual snide and harshly inappropriate way:

CNN's Dana Loesch responded to the growing controversy surrounding her comments dismissing outrage over video apparently showing U.S. Marines urinating on dead bodies by saying that her critics "felt as though these Marines should be bowing to the Taliban ... just like this administration does." 

Loesch tried to explain her comments:
The reaction to what these Marines did is disproportionate to the actual offense: beyond disproportionate. They'll be dealt with it. Get over it. And that was my entire point.
That was far from Loesch's "entire point." In fact, she went on to say that the individuals shown in the video should be awarded "a million cool points" and went on question whether "there's supposed to be a scandal that someone pees on the corpse of a Taliban fighter" and bragged, "I'd drop trou and do it, too."

Loesch's comments were widely condemned throughout the day Friday, leading her to lash out at her critics with the suggestion that they sided with the Taliban:
I think the progressives felt as though that these Marines should be bowing to the Taliban, and every other combatant, and every other foreign entity just like this administration does. So my whole point was to say that your whole reaction was ridiculous.

LOESCH: My whole entire point is that these individuals -- like they're using this example as an issue to wage against our military and our war -- or, no our military and our soldiers, period -- to make our military look like a bunch of murderers and a bunch of bad people. Look what -- no, no, no, no, no. That's not going to be used as an example to make our military look bad. I mean, this is -- that's what it is.

They're saying, Oh, look, this is our military. We've told you before how they're uneducated, and stupid, and everything else, you've heard callers call into this show that say, oh, the reason they go in the military is because they can't get a job anywhere else. It's infuriating. It's insulting. And I'm not going to let that be used as an excuse. I mean, that's just -- and we can agree to disagree on it. They're dead terrorists. I could care less.

They are dead terrorists. These are people who have -- are part of a group who murdered over 3,000 Americans, some of them children, some of them expectant mothers. I will not show courtesy. So, you know, throw them over the cliff into the ocean. I don't care. But I don't think that these soldiers, these Marines, who are on video doing this, the military can handle it how the military wants to handle it.
But I'm not going to join into the chorus of going after these individuals and using them as -- to paint the military as bad and all that.

These Taliban have done more to the United States than this video, and people are trying to act as though somehow what terrorism has done to this country is equal to any offense that could be caused from the video. Today, on her Big Journalism blogpost, she defended her controversial words and blamed the
"Liberal/Progressive media for spinning my words as offensive, when what I said was the truth."

Yesterday on my radio show I discussed the topic of the Marines videotaping themselves urinating on dead Taliban fighters. The usual mob of progressive haters started campaigning on Twitter and complaining to CNN.

The first source of “outrage” was “Nicole Gennette,” a liberal sockpuppet on Twitter who has adopted the name of one of Anthony Weiner’s alleged love interests–and who is likely a man anyway. Yet Mediaite dutifully quoted him/her.

Politico this morning attempted to elevate the trumped-up controversy over my remarks to a serious journalistic story, and didn’t bother reaching out to me for comment prior to publishing. It’s the kind of hit job Politico does best–and likely payback for all the times their journalistic malpractice has been pointed out here.
There is a difference in advocating for the Marines to break the law, which I didn’t do, and defending them from overly-dramatic hysteria. I was using absurdity to highlight absurdity. It’s absurd to desecrate corpses but it’s not wrong to hate terrorists who are trying to kill our troops–and us. And I’m not in uniform–so I am free to express what a lot of Americans feel about the controversy, even if it makes some pony-tailed academics feel uncomfortable.

The progressive left chose to include CNN in their attack because they don’t like that the network–any network–features conservative voices and have been throwing everything at the wall to get me removed since the very beginning.
My entire point of the past two days was to highlight the absurd reaction from militant troop-bashers to these Marines. In my Twitter timeline yesterday progressives called our military “killers, kids, barbaric trash, murderers …” The only time soldiers are celebrated by the left is when they engage in protests like OWS. The rest of the time they’re demonized. They get the red carpet rolled out for them, too.

The disproportionate anger on the part of progressives is fueled by their dislike of our military. That what this proves. The left is attacking me so they can give the Obama administration a pass–unlike what they did with Bush and Abu Ghraib. Like it or not, I’ll stand up for our troops no matter which president is in charge.

Oxycontin Smuggler Rush Limbaugh, of all people, though Loesch's remarks are too extreme.

CNN contributor Dana Loesch is under fire for comments she made on her radio show dismissing outrage over video that appears to show members of the United States Marine Corps urinating on dead bodies that early reports have identified as Afghans, saying that she would "drop trou and do it, too." Loesch's comments are so extreme, they put her out on a fringe where even Rush Limbaugh won't go.

"Now we have a bunch of progressives that are talking smack about our military because there were marines caught urinating on corpses, Taliban corpses," Loesch said during her radio program on FM News Talk 97.1. "Can someone explain to me if there's supposed to be a scandal that someone pees on the corpse of a Taliban fighter? Someone who, as part of an organization, murdered over 3,000 Americans? I'd drop trou and do it too. That's me though. I want a million cool points for these guys. Is that harsh to say? Come on people, this is a war. What do people think this is?"
Loesch's comments were first noted by St. Louis Activist Hub, a website for progressive activists. Official audio of Loesch's remarks is also available on her show page, beginning four and a half minutes prior to the end of part one of Thursday's show.
CNN, which has looked to bring in voices from across the political spectrum, also prides itself on being positioned in the center of the more ideologically driven Fox and MSNBC networks.
I've reached out to CNN to ask for their response to Loesch's comments, and whether or not it will have any impact on her role at CNN. Updates here if and when I hear back.

Dana Loesch's double standards on booing

Double standards alert: Breitbart flunky and pretend Independent Conservative who's really a Republican cheerleader Dana Loesch defended the booing of Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, solely because they were Democrats. Had they been Republicans, they would be cheering them loudly. Then again, most, but not all, NASCAR fans are Republicans or Republican-leaning Independents. She whined about how "Conservatives get victimized and booed for their beliefs, while the Democrats get cheered and seldom ever booed."
That's not even close to true.

Yesterday First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden appeared at the last NASCAR race of the season to serve as co-grand marshals and shout “Gentlemen, start your engines!” The appearance was part of the Joining Forces initiative and yesterday, according to the White House, FLOTUS was joined by “5,000 active duty and retired military personnel and families and thousands of NASCAR fans” and was loudly booed when her name was announced over the loud speakers.

At an event with such an apparently unifying theme, the crowd’s reaction was an ugly reminder of how personally some have taken the political divisions in our country.

It’s not a recent occurrence, and to my memory, this is the first time that a Democrat has been publicly booed. I certainly don’t recall progressive media condemning how Sarah Palin was booed at a hockey game in Philadelphia.

I’ve always said that respect for public office is a two-way street, and the ultimate failure of this is when the individual holding said office doesn’t themselves demonstrate respect for it.
Is it really a surprise that after three-and-a-half years of being demonized by the party of the President and First Lady (when they aren’t doing the demonizing themselves) that Americans would issue a frosty reception? This is the same President that called Americans “bitter clingers” [their emphasis]:

 And it’s not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Yes, 300+ criminal acts of “expression.” And the people screaming the loudest over the NASCAR booing are the people who support and endorse this.
Remember, it was the Obama administration which placed the Tea Party on the DHS watch list for domestic terrorism, which to me sounds like bad manners to label someone as a potential domestic terrorist simply for disagreeing with your policies or carrying a military-authorized Gadsen flag.
I haven’t seen a blip about these “bad manners” from the progressives attempting to excoriate conservatives and the NASCAR audience (five thousand of which were military and military families) over the First Lady’s reception.

The debate included video questions that were submitted on YouTube, and one came from a soldier serving in Iraq who is gay and asked about the candidates’ opinions on don’t ask don’t tell. There was audible booing after his question…however, please note that it was not the crowd booing. It was only one or two people.

Frankly, I don’t care where you stand on DADT, you don’t boo a soldier in the battlefield, period. The audience at last night’s debate believe this which is why they verbally took apart the men who yelled. Conservatives police their side.

If progressives want to talk about bigotry, let’s talk about the unfiltered racist hatred they dumped on Twitter the night Troy Davis was delivered justice. Look at Michelle Malkin’s Twitter stream for that. I’m waiting for progressives to clean up their house.

Following last night's debate between Kentucky Senate candidates Rand Paul and Jack Conway, MoveOn.org activist Lauren Valle reportedly attempted to give Paul a fake award. According to the Associated Press, Paul's supporters responded by wrestling Valle to the ground; one of them then repeatedly stomped on her head:

Jim Hoft, at the least, is reacting to this incident with barely concealed glee.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised at this sort of thing after a conservative consultant asked "why the MMFA boys don't get curbstomped fortnightly."
