Loesch and her cronies at "Smart Girl" Summit 2011

The massively misinformed Dana Loesch spoke at the "Smart Girl" Summit (which might as well be called the Misinformed Conservative Women Summit) which was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Here is a look at what she and her cronies said at the event:

Loesch, a GOP shill who pretends to be an independent conservative, said "We criticize the GOP because we care."

Loesch spoke to PJTV's Alexis Garcia on her take of the Teahadist movement. As expected, she blamed the Democrats for the economy being bad.

Herman Cain falsely states that "invoking the 14th Amendment is an abuse of the Constitution."

Missouri's Lt. Governor Peter Kinder (R) was whining about the "Federal Government being 'despots' over the states."

Andrew Breitbart blamed the "liberal media" for having a bias, with no regard for facts. In fact, Fixed Noise and right-wing media is more biased than the So-Called Liberal Media.

Of course, there was union-bashing going on, as Scott Walker crony, aka Wisconsin's Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch (R) defended Walker's insane actions:

Phyllis Schlafly, St. Louis's Original Nutjob, said: "Obama Raising the Debt Ceiling On His Own is Unconstitutional." If Bush (or any other GOP President) did it, then Schlafly would be praising it.

The SGS Straw Poll results, the 1st ever women's Presidential straw poll, gave the absolutely insane Michele Bachmann a victory but Herman Cain was a closer-than-expected 2nd. Rick Perry and Sarah Palin were NOT on the ballot.

Billing it as the first ever women’s presidential straw poll, nearly 300 conservative women activists cast their ballots in Louisville this weekend at the third annual Smart Girl Summit to give their favorite presidential candidates a boost.

Michele Bachmann came in first—no shock there—but it wasn’t the complete blowout many expected from an audience of conservative women. Entrepreneur and inspirational speaker Herman Cain finished a close second, underscoring that the women are looking for conservative grassroots leadership regardless of gender.

This is the season for straw polls, and it’s always fun to measure the candidates against one another. But it’s unclear how much they mean in a primary contest that doesn’t get underway for another six months, and when two potentially major candidates, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and Texas Gov. Rick Perry, were left off the ballot, since they were at the summit.

Many of the women were undecided and agonized over their choice, with some wanting to write in Palin or Perry, but the voting was limited to declared candidates.

Results of the Straw Poll, via Benjamin Daily's Twitter:
Women's Straw Poll results: Bachmann 40%, Cain 30%, Paul 9%, Romney 8%, Pawlenty 7.4%, Santorum 3%, & 4 tied with 0.7%

Sarah Palin's The Undefeated (more like The Unfinished or The Quitter Who Loses) was on hand at the event. The film has a 0% rating at RottenTomatoes.com. The pro-Palin apologists, especially over at C4P.com, are spinning this as if it were a big hit.

Pyschotalker Loesch: "Allen West Tells It Like It Is." WRONG!

St. Louis's toxic mouth Dana Loesch wrote today in Big Hackulism (er, Journalism) that "Allen West is a hero for standing up to the Democrat bullies" and that "Olbermann was just making lies up about him." Newsflash out there, Ms. Loesch: What Allen West (R-FL22) did was juvenile, insipid, despicable, sexist, misogynistic, and highly un-gentleman psycho talk. He ought to be either censured, impeached, and/or forced to resign.

Keith Olbermann lost his mind on Allen West yesterday evening on his program and doubled-down this afternoon on Twitter. The irony is that the insults he cast upon Rep. Allen West were, according to his own measurement of offensiveness, more outrageous than anything ever uttered or written by the Congressman.
Seriously?! Are you that insane, Dana?! Trying to defend a sexist ultra-right punk?!

Here's the harsh letter that West sent to Wassserman-Schultz:
From: Z112 West, Allen
Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2011 04:48 PM
To: Wasserman Schultz, Debbie
Cc: McCarthy, Kevin; Blyth, Jonathan; Pelosi, Nancy; Cantor, Eric
Subject: Unprofessional and Inappropriate Sophomoric Behavior from Wasserman-Schultz

Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional ,and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!

I am bringing your actions today to our Majority Leader and Majority Whip and from this time forward, understand that I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior……which dates back to the disgusting protest you ordered at my campaign hqs, October 2010 in Deerfield Beach.

You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!

Steadfast and Loyal

Congressman Allen B West (R-FL)
Grow the fuck up, Allen West! And he did apologize to Wasserman Schultz today, but the Teahadist base is saying that he's a "spineless, sellout RINO" for apologizing to her. But it doesn't change the fact that he still said those vile things. Update: She says that "apology is absolutely untrue."

On yesterday's Countdown With Keith Olbermann, Keith Olbermann deservingly ripped West to shreds for not only bashing Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL20), but for suggesting that "Barack Obama supporters are a threat to the gene pool." He was named Silver in the Worst Persons comment, but should've really be awarded the Gold.

From the 07.19.2011 edition of Current TV's Countdown With Keith Olbermann:

She whined about Wasserman Schultz for having the balls to call out the Republicans for their plans to openly advocate cuts of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. And the DNC Chairwoman is right on target with what she said.

To recap: Debbie Wasserman-Schultz demonstrated her inability to comprehend economics 101 the floor of the House yesterday with this:

She didn’t deliver her speech until Congressman West was absent and then directed it at him.
She has more ability to understand critical thinking, unlike you, who wants to make up stuff to hurt Liberals and Democrats.

From the 07.19.2011 edition of CSPAN's House Of Representatives Coverage:

On today's episode of MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Reports, she went on and responded to West's unprofessional conduct:

From the 07.20.2011 edition of MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Reports:

So, Loesch will defend a sexist Conservative for his actions, while whining about "Liberals/Progressives/Democrats are sexists." Grand hypocrisy much?

On CNN Newsroom, Loesch says "Mosques should have to disclose any ties that go against the USA"

On today's CNN Newsroom, St. Louis's leading hate jock Dana Loesch went on the air and made this statement: "Mosques should disclose if they have "ties to any organizations that present a conflict of interest to US security." This type of Islamophobic villianization is on par for someone loonytunes like Loesch.

Transcript:

PHILLIPS: Checking top stories now. The heat is unrelenting. The National Weather Service declaring excessive heat warnings for 14 states. The humidity can make it feel as hot as 126 in some places, and it's extending all the way through the Midwest. No deaths have been reported so far.

Former "News of the World" Rebekah Brooks will testify as scheduled tomorrow before British lawmakers investigating illegal eavesdropping by journalists. Brooks was arrested and released over the weekend.

President Obama says talks will continue this week, but top Republicans say they still need more specifics on deficit reduction before agreeing to anything. In a new twist Moody's, the big credit rating agency, says that the U.S. would be better off if it did away with the debt ceiling entirely. Lawmakers have an August 2nd deadline to get that deal done.

All right, "Political Buzz," your rapid fire look at the hottest political topics of the day. Three questions and 20 seconds on the clock and playing today, Democratic strategist Maria Cardona, Sirius XM political talk show host and comedian Pete Dominick and CNN contributor and talk show radio host Dana Loesch.

First question, you guys, this hour, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates sitting down with President Obama. What kind of advice should they give the president to solve the debt impasse? Dana --

DANA LOESCH, CNN CONTRIBUTOR: Goodness, have the Senate Democrats come up with some sort of balanced budget amendment or come up with specific cuts that they can make in these debt talks. That's one of the things that we're missing.

Realistic, big-time cuts that were actually going to have a difference aside from the pettily $2 trillion, where only in D.C. would $2 trillion sound like a nothing amount.

PHILLIPS: The pettily $2 trillion, Maria.

MARIA CARDONA, DEMOCRATIC STRATEGIST: I think what they'll do, Kyra, is continue to urge this president to stand strong on wanting to keep tax revenues, new revenues into whatever deal. They have been saying for many, many, many years that they are -- that people like them can and should be paying more because any deal needs to be fair and balanced. Most Americans agree with that.

PHILLIPS: Pete.

PETE DOMINICK, SIRIUS-XM POLITICAL TALK SHOW HOST: Well, maybe Bill Gates could tell the president how to design a revolutionary new operating system that would dominate all computers.

Short of that, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates have taken advantage of all these tax loopholes that President Obama wants to close. These guys know better than anyone how to take advantage of them. They should tell the president what they use, and maybe he could address those issues right now.

PHILLIPS: All right, guys, GOP candidate Herman Cain says a community should be able to prevent building a mosque in their neighborhood. Is this kind of thinking presidential? Dana.

LOESCH: Well, really quickly, 55 percent of American oppose tax hikes in the debt ceiling talks. But according to -- going along with Herman Cain's discussion here, I'm against mob rule.

But I believe that any sort of mosque that's built in a community needs to disclose whether or not it has ties to any organizations that present a conflict of interest to American security. I think that two-way street is fair, so hopefully we can have more of that in the future.

PHILLIPS: Maria.

CARDONA: It is as far from presidential you can get. It's downright shameful. Would he ask the same of Christians, of Buddhists, of Hindus, of Jewish people wanting to build those kinds of institutions and places of worship in their communities?

He is in essence equating American Muslims, Americans in their community with al Qaeda and with Osama Bin Laden, downright shameful.

PHILLIPS: Pete.

DOMINICK: This is so stupid and insulting. Herman Cain and anybody who shares this kind of idea that says you can't build a house of worship is a joke. It's insulting.

I'm no fan of religion myself, but this is too sad. He actually has a lot of executive experience. He should focus on that. Muslims have helped disrupt every plot in America. We need to be their friend, not their enemies and that's exactly what he's doing.

PHILLIPS: All right, guys, your buzzer beater. Ten seconds each. Sarah Palin's movie is out for all to see this weekend. Her big competition is Harry Potter. What would you rather see, Maria? CARDONA: I would rather see Harry Potter. If I was a fan of horror movies, I go see Sarah Palin's movie because I'm sure it's going to be downright scary. It would give me nightmares for days.

PHILLIPS: Dana.

LOESCH: That's so classy. I'm going to see the Sarah Palin movie obviously, but I'm also going to see the Harry Potter because I have two boys. I have to. I'm obligated to.

PHILLIPS: Pete.

DOMINICK: Well, one movie has really made us familiar with a character who developed over three years and helped people who are very religious and lack certain critical thinking skills. I really am attracted to that, but the other movie centers around a wizard. So -

(BUZZER)

DOMINICK: I'm not sure. I think it's a win-win.

PHILLIPS: Thanks, guys, for weighing in.
The other two panelists, Maria Cardona and Pete Dominick, went against Loesch's insane view of Muslims and the rabidly Islamophobic Herman Cain.

From the 07.18.2011 edition of CNN Newsroom:

Last week, she and her toadies were whining about the Kenneth Gladney verdict not going their way, and not even the 2 Teahadist judges weren't buying Gladney's excuses. Loesch was using the Gladney story in order to preach anti-Union views to her audience.

Dana Loesch defends Bachmann's controversial pledge, criticizes Whoopi

Dana the Liar is in rare form today, as she ludicrously claimed that the "slavery" language was NOT in the original pledge signed by 2012 Presidential Candidate Michele Bachmann (R-MN06), when in fact the slavery reference WAS in it.

Loesch's lie:
The women of “The View” are angry over this.

Was Goldberg also upset when Barack Obama noted the decline of the black two-parent household? –

“More than half of all black children live in single-parent households, a number that has doubled — doubled — since we were children.”

- Barack Obama’s 2008 Father’s Day address

– or just when she thinks a white woman said it? (Because Bachmann didn’t say it — in fact, it wasn’t even included in the original pledge she signed. Goldberg condescendingly remarked that Bachmann needs to read up on history, I reply that Goldberg should get her facts straight on this story before commenting on it.) Bachmann signed a pledge that she feels is indicative of her faith and doesn’t rewrite her principles to accommodate popularity. We’ve become the first industrialized nation to outlaw slavery, to elect a black president, but families in the black community are still suffering, a suffering often aided by the very individuals who claim to help. This is irony, not racism.

hat Goldberg cherry picks when she wants to get upset over a perceived racial insult is, itself, offensive. (No outrage when Democrats assumed that more black Americans were on welfare than white?)
Grace follows redemption and certain situations are unavoidable, but I’m tired of Hollywood romanticizing it as a choice equal to that of a two-parent upbringing.

Hey Dana, your narrow-minded and insane views on single-parent upbringing are loony, considering that YOU spent a considerable amount of your childhood without both parents. My parents have been split up for almost five years now and live with a single parent, my Dad. Also, Ms. Loesch, Goldberg has the facts, while you're just making stuff up in thin air.

Here was the excerpt of the controversial reference to slavery, via Politico.
"Slavery had a disastrous impact on African-American families, yet sadly a child born into slavery in 1860 was more likely to be raised by his mother and father in a two-parent household than was an African-American baby born fter the election of the USA's first African-American President," read the preamble.

Whoopi Goldberg on The View, told it like it is about Bachmann's anti-Same Sex Marriage/anti-porno/anti-masturbation pledge.

From the 07.11.2011 edition of ABC's The View:

One of the GOP candidates for President, the libertarian-leaning former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson, condemned it as being "offensive" and "un-Republican." At least he has the balls to call out his own party on this farce of a pledge.

She also filled in for Jason Lewis, on KTLK's The Jason Lewis Show this past Friday, and it was more of the same loony shit that she regularly says on The Dana Show.
