At #CPAC2015, Loesch heinously says "gays could be stoned in the streets" if anti-LGBTQ bigotry isn't allowed

At the same CPAC conference in which she mentioned that "it was time to make [Conservative] Christians a 'protected class'", notorious anti-LGBTQ homophobia bigot Dana Loesch heinously suggested that non-discrimination laws "will lead to gays getting stoned in the streets."" WRONG AGAIN, Mrs. Loesch! It's phony "Christian" assholes like you, Tony Perkins, Matt Barber, Bryan Fischer, and their ilk that want to harm the LGBTQ community.

Tim Peacock at Peacock Panache:
"You don't have to be a Christian to be affected by loss of religious liberty, because if one liberty is taken, more liberties will be taken," Loesch said. After complimenting her rabid, fervently far-right fan base she continued, "If I'm not speaking up you're losing rights then what will happen to me when the day comes, if someone comes to me? What if you're stoned for walking out in the street for being gay? I mean, come on, that's where the conversation needs to go."
Loesch's stance against LGBT public accommodation protections is nothing new; she's been railing against these specific civil rights protections for years.
[...]
To sum things up: Loesch thinks everyone should have the ability to deny service based on sincerely held religious beliefs because lack of religious liberty could lead to gays being stoned. But she also wants to simultaneously specifically protect Christians from the very sort of discrimination she rallied for.
Kyle Mantyla at PFAW's Right Wing Watch:
On Saturday morning, right-wing radio host and self-described "total partisan hack" Dana Loesch participated in a CPAC panel on religious liberty, along with the Family Research Council's Tony Perkins and Rep. Randy Neugebauer. During the discussion, Loesch said that if America doesn’t protect the supposed "right" of Christians to discriminate against gays in public accommodations, it will eventually lead to gays being stoned to death in the streets.
Thank God that Right Wing Watch has finally put Loesch into their monitoring rotation (something that should've been done years ago), considering that she was (and still is) Beck's lead substitute for his afternoon show and now has her own daily show after him. Her employer Glenn Beck and regular TheBlazeTV guest (and occasional fill-in host) David Barton are regularly monitored by RWW.

More on Loesch's attacks on LGBTQ rights:

At #CPAC2015, Dana Loesch says it's time to make "[Conservative] Christians a 'protected class'"

At CPAC 2015, KFTK radio host and TheBlaze employee Dana Loesch says it's time to "make [Conservative] Christians a protected class." WRONG, Mrs. Loesch! They already are a "protected class" by your own definition.

Tony Ortega at The Raw Story:
Columnist Cal Thomas, radio host Dana Loesch, and Family Research Council president Tony Perkins took part in a CPAC panel on religious freedom Saturday, and they pronounced that times were dire for followers of Jesus Christ.
“I feel like it’s time to make Christians a protected class,” Dana Loesch said, as the discussion reached a fevered pitch of self-pity.

Mrs. Mamalogues falsely claims "religion is under attack", still lying about FRC's ties to Uganda's "Kill The Gays" Bill

Add this to the list of lies that Mrs. Mamalogues spews out daily. She is falsely claiming that "our religious freedoms are under attack" baloney that Conservative Christians spew out.

Big Government:

Now various reports state that the suspect, 28 year-old Floyd Corkins II, shouted disagreements with FRC's Christian stance on same sex marriage before opening fire. He reportedly carried with him a Chick-Fil-A bag and other restaurant paraphernalia, and posed as an intern to gain access to the FRC.
The AP reported that Corkins was a volunteer at a LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered) center:
David Mariner is executive director of The DC Center for the LGBT Community. He says Corkins had been volunteering at the center for about the past 6 months. Mariner describes Corkins as “kind, gentle and unassuming.”
The reports of Corkins shouting disagreement with FRC before opening fire explains why authorities felt the need to assemble a joint task force and bring in the FBI to investigate. By progressive definitions, you could argue it was a "hate crime."
It's easy to brush aside this incident as one act of a crazy man until you consider the past two weeks. The Family Research Council is affiliated with Chick-Fil-A. Chick-Fil-A came under fire due to the free speech of CEO Dan Cathy by militant anti-Christian and anti-free speech activists. They further attacked Chick-Fil-A, accusing them of supporting Ugandan gay-killing via a resolution they claimed the FRC had lobbied to kill.

Their claims were wholly inaccurate and debunked here. The FRC lobbied to change the language of the resolution, they did not oppose the resolution. Anti-Christian activists, under the guise of gay rights, ignored the truth and concocted a smear claiming that FRC lobbied to support the death of gays in Uganda. (It's ironic, considering the majority of these same anti-Christian activists voted for the administration who endorsed a group, the Muslim Brotherhood, which does rule that gays are to be killed via capital punishment simply for being gay.)
Religion is under attack in the United States, but until now, it wasn't meant literally.

Excuse me, Dana!? The FRC DID support Uganda's "Kill The Gays" Bill, and you are still lying about it. And critics of the Family Research Council are not "Anti-Christian." Also, I'm sure religion is NOT "under attack" in the US, unless you're a brainwashed religious right kool-aid drinker who believes whatever their favorite hosts and preachers spout off as the gospel truth.

The real facts about Loesch's hateful deceptions about Uganda's asinine bill, from JoeMyGod.blogspot.com:

FACT CHECK: The FRC lobbied to change the language of the Uganda resolution because (according to them) denouncing the executions of homosexuals constituted "pro-homosexual promotion" because of a clause associating "human rights" with "gay rights." Those are the FRC's exact words, which are available for public viewing on their federally-filed lobbying disclosure form. They didn't have to explicitly oppose the bill because they knew that their objection to its wording would be enough to kill it thanks to FRC-friendly GOP House members who then voted to "refer it back to committee," where it has languished for the past two years. However you want to spin it, the actions of FRC lobbyists did indisputably prevent the House from condemning Uganda's still-pending "kill the gays" bill.

I'd like to know why vehemently anti-LGBTQ homophobe Dana Loesch is allowed to be at Homocon 2012, hosted by GOProud?

Chick-Fil-A shill Dana Loesch falsely declares they didn't support Uganda's "Kill The Gays" Bill

In her Big Journalism blog, far-right homophobe Dana Loesch downplayed Chick-Fil-A's anti-LGBTQ policies and their support for Uganda's "Kill The Gays" bill.

Big Journalism:

Due to a lack of reading comprehension and desire to deal in truth, progressive websites have for days peddled the lie that Chick-Fil-A supported the Family Research Council's support of legislation which OK'd gay-killing in Uganda. A lie that took all of two seconds to debunk.

Of course, Loesch is lying to her readers, and she knows full well that they did support the "Kill The Gays Bill." Here's the REAL facts from The New Civil Rights Movement.

The New Civil Rights Movement::

Are Chick-Fil-A‘s profits supporting the infamous Uganda “Kill The Gays” bill? How many degrees of separation does it take before you get to wash your hands of slime?
Every year, millions of dollars from Chick-Fil-A’s corporate profits are donated to Chick-Fil-A’s wholly-owned non-profit “charity,” the Winshape Foundation. In turn, Winshape donates millions to anti-gay organizations, many of which spend most or all their focus on defeating or repealing same-sex marriage, trying to “pray away the gay,” spreading lies and hate about the LGBT community, and more.
Winshape annually donates to Family Research Council.
In 2010, as Scott Wooledge notes in this excellent graphic above, and details in his post at Daily Kos, the Family Research Council, a certified anti-gay hate group run by Tony Perkins, spent $25,000 lobbying Congress to NOT condemn Uganda’s “Kill The Gays” bill.

9/12 Teabagger Rally in STL: The STL Teabagger Hate Cabal's run-up + Tony Perkins claims that "Christian Television will be off the air"

The STL Teabagger Hate Cabal is leading the charge on that the "rallies aren't political," when fact they are really nothing more than anti-Democrat/Obama rallies, because they can't stand the fact that we have a duly elected Black Democratic president in office.

First, the Ultimate Satan of the St. Louis Area has this piece, intercepted by Adam Shriver.

Unintentional Irony Alert: The Astroturf St. Louis Tea Party

Dana Loesch was angry about the fact that singer Kim Massie backed out of the 9/12 tea party rally because she didn't want to be used as a political pawn, and had the following to say on her blog:
Something to note: Massie was invited by the Lt. Governor of Missouri and was reportedly excited to debut her song about 9/11 at the 9/12 event. It was never marketed as anything but a tea party event.

Sad that the left is so uncomfortable with the idea of a huge grassroots movement which isn’t under the sway of a political party.
So Loesch says that the tea party "isn't under the sway of a political party," just two sentences after noting that the Republican Lt. Governor was helping to book guests for the rally! When Republican politicians are scheduling your guests for you, yes you are under the sway of a political party!

The St. Louis tea party has been astroturf from the very start, and their support of Republican insiders like Roy Blunt and Ed Martin only reinforces that fact.

Kim Massie WILL NOT Perform at Tea Party Rally

Out of the long list of usual suspects who will be speaking at this Sunday's tea party, there was one pretty surprising guest: renowned vocalist Kim Massie. I guess we found out why: apparently, the tea party didn't inform her that this was going to be a political rally.

At least Kim Massie has the balls to say no to the hatemongers, unlike LaRussa and Pujols.

Next, the Astroturfing whacko Ed Martin had this from his blog:

I'm all for people sharing their memories of and reflections about the tragic events from September 11, 2001. It was a catastrophic loss of life and something that is indelibly imprinted on all Americans who lived through that time. Its anniversary should be an event that brings us together in mourning and contemplation, but unfortunately shameless politicians like Ed Martin try to exploit that tragedy to attack their political opponents. Check out these paragraphs from Martin's post today titled "September 11th – Nine Years Later:"

Next up: Islamophobia at the 9/12 Teabagger Rally: They really are racist whackjobs who hate ANYTHING that isn't white, straight, Christian, Republican, and/or Conservative.

Tea Party Attendee: "Wish Me Luck and No Muslims"

A member of the Dallas tea party flying in to St. Louis for the 9/12 rally had this to say today:

Every one of these idiots is implying that ALL of Islam is evil. I have no idea how anyone could grow up in a population center like St. Louis or Dallas and be so completely ignorant about the fact that decent, hard-working, peaceful Muslims are integrated throughout American society. They have to be locking themselves in a basement 24 hours a day with a radio that only plays 97.1. And even that wouldn't work perfectly, since I heard Dave Glover on the radio making some reasonable comments as he guest hosted Glenn Beck's show. Honestly, I don't understand how people can be that clueless.

Anyway, if the tea party wants their claims to be "open-minded" and "tolerant" to be taken seriously, they need to condemn these types of comments at their rally.

http://stlactivisthub.blogspot.com/2010/09/tea-party.html

If you think that the Teabaggers are just "average Americans who are trying to save our freedoms," then you better think again with this next article in that the Astroturfed Tea Party is encouraging the use of Public Transportation after they demonized it back in April and in other past instances (St. Charles County back in the 90's, etc...)

Tea Party Asks People To Use The Light Rail They Tried to Destroy

Only a few months ago, the St. Louis tea party was screaming "SOCIALISM" and claiming that St. Louis did not have the population density to support light rail. They tried to block a sales tax increase that was needed to restore the public transportation system in St. Louis. Fortunately for them, their attempts to defeat EVIL SOCIALIST public transportation failed miserably, because they are now encouraging people to use MetroLink to get to the 9/12 rally:

ThinkProgress has this dandy: Tony Perkins is falsely trying to claim that "TBN, Daystar, EWTN, INSP, TCT, the whole Right-Wing Pro-Israel Lobby Religious Networks will be shut down." In fact, that will NEVER happen, as long as greedy, Right-Wing Bible-thumping snakeoil preachers are making money. They also love to say that "The Liberals/Anti-Christians are taking our rights away to preach the 'truth' and throwing us in jail" nonsense. A preacher WON'T go to jail for preaching against abortion, homosexuality, etc...

TBN, Daystar, EWTN, TCT, CBN, and all of the countless other channels ARE aiding and abetting not only the GOP/Focus On The Family/First Things (who Hoft blogs for)-issued talking points, but also peddling the Creationist, Messianic Jewish (Daystar and TBN especially), and the Prosperity Gospel Movement.
When David Boies debated Family Research Council president Tony Perkins on Face The Nation, he pointed out that while “it’s easy to sit around and debate and throw around opinions, appeal to people’s fear and prejudice, cite studies that either don’t exist or don`t say what you say they do, in a court of law, you`ve got to come in and you`ve got to support those opinions.” “And what we saw at trial is that it`s very easy for the people who want to deprive gay and lesbian citizens the right to vote to make all sorts of statements and campaign literature, or in debates, where they can`t be cross-examined, but when they come into court and they have to support those opinions and they have to defend those opinions under oath and cross- examination, those opinions just melt away,” he said.
