St. Louis' Queen of Hate Dana Loesch (who was a regular fill-in for Beck) has joined TheBlazeTV as a host and contributor to that station. She is expected to continue her duties as the host of KFTK's The Dana Show and be the top sub for Glenn Beck.

Loesch, who also broadcasts a radio show based in St. Louis, Mo., will contribute across the network and TheBlaze.com. She’ll also continue to serve as a fill-in host for Beck on his radio program and TheBlaze TV show.

NOTE: In St. Louis, Glenn Beck's radio show, The Glenn Beck Radio Program, airs on KFTK at 9AM CDT, before The Dana Show at Noon CDT.

This morning on the radio show, Dana Loesch filled in for Glenn who is away on vacation. Many of you may know her from CNN, Breitbart news, or even her guest spots right here on GBTV, but Dana wasn’t always the strong conservative that she is today. In fact, prior to September 11th, Dana was a pretty hardcore liberal. 

“I’m a reformed liberal,” Dana said this morning while introducing herself to the Glenn Beck radio audience. 

She continued, explaining that she had her “come to Jesus moment” on 9/11 as she watched the towers falls on her television. She realized in that moment that the ideology which she had believed in doesn’t work in reality – there are repercussions. 

Dana, who grew up in a home of southern Democrats in Missouri, had already started her journey towards conservatism prior to 9/11 after being disenfranchised by the left’s treatment of Hilary Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Having a background in journalism, she began writing for a couple of daily newspapers, did a few television spots here and there, and right before the 2008 election Dana got involved in radio.

Loony Loesch used to write for the Post-Dispatch until March 3rd, 2008 as the Mamalogues columnist. The blog Mamalogues shut down in 2010. Nowadays, she's known for peddling far-right smears and lies to an national audience on radio, blogs, and TV.

Last week, prominent far-right fringe voice Dana Loesch has been in a heap of lies, ranging from her rampant Islamophobia by the demonization of Huma Abedin to declaring a CONSERVATIVE Christian caller who criticized Chick-Fil-A's anti-LGBTQ polices a "phony Christian." Also, on ABC's This Week, Loesch lied her ass off to the American people.

Notorious Islamophobic far-right radio host Dana Loesch is stepping up to the plate to make Pamela Geller, Brigitte Gabriel, Frank Gaffney, and the Islamophobia Lobby happy by demonizing Huma Abedin, a Deputy Chief of Staff and aide to Secretary of State (and possible 2016 Presidential contender) Hillary Clinton.   

At least two prominent CNN personalities (Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper) have grilled Michele Bachmann's baseless conspiracy theory of tying Abedin, Keith Ellison, Grover Norquist, and other Muslims to the Muslim Brotherhood. 

Nevertheless, TeaNN contributor Loesch repeated the false claim by Bachmann without challenge  on her radio show.

ABC again invited CNN contributor and conservative pundit Dana Loesch to be part of its This Week roundtable, even though she has promoted a conspiracy theory that her CNN co-workers described as "McCarthy-like."
On her radio show earlier this week, Loesch promoted the fringe idea that Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin "is essentially a member of the female version of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Muslim Sisterhood." The comment was the subject of a letter circulated by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) attacking Abedin. 

Similarly, Loesch attacked a caller to her show this week who said she opposed Chick-Fil-A management's stance against gay marriage, telling her that "I know you hate Christ." Loesch claimed that as a supporter of marriage equality, the woman could not be a Christian. Polls over the last decades have shown declining opposition to same-sex marriage among evangelicals, and among Americans in general. 

But Loesch nevertheless repeated the claim on This Week, saying, "obviously the CEO is a Christian, people are shocked that he's for traditional marriage? It just doesn't make sense to me."

She also repeated Fixed Noise's false claim that "Obama is harming small businesses."

While working as an informant he helped expose and stop an attack at the 2008 GOP convention. This event revealed Brandon as an informant and quickly put him to the top of the ‘left’s most hated’ list. Brandon now works to expose the far left and those behind Occupy Wall Street. KFTK's The Dana Show moves from 2-4PM to Noon-3PM, effective January 30th

Starting on Monday, January 30th, Dana Loesch of the Gateway "Grassroots" Initiative's The Dana Show on KFTK will have a new time slot, expanding to three hours. The first two hours are head-to-head against Rush Limbaugh's The Rush Limbaugh Program on KMOX 1120 AM and the 3rd against local Dittohead Mark Reardon. Premiere's The Laura Ingraham Show (currently airing from Noon to 2PM, has been removed from KFTK's Schedule. The Dave Glover Show gets expanded from 3 hours to 4, and starts right after The Dana Show. The post-Glover lineup, Allman In The Morning, and The Glenn Beck Program's spots stay intact.

Starting January 30th, Dana Loesch, host of "The Dana Show" will move to three big hours from noon to 3pm, bringing you all the hottest and biggest developments from the political scene. At 3pm, Dave Glover will take over the microphone as his show, "The Dave Glover Show" expands to four big hours in drive-time keeping you laughing and informed on your commute home.

This Past weekend at TeaCon 2011, held in Chicago suburb Schaumburg, Illinois, KFTK radio host, CNN "Contributor," and Big Journalism's Smear Artist-In-Chief Dana Loesch and her cronies (Andrew Breitbart, Glenn Beck, Steven Crowder, Guy Benson) was at the event telling more right-wing gibberish. Also there was the Deadbeat Dad Congresscritter Joe Walsh (R-IL08.)

Loesch spoke at event, telling the same rehashed lies.



Key Points:

• Loesch said that she was "VERY Liberal, almost socialist-like" and came from a union family from Southern Missouri. (approx 1:30).
• When 9/11 hit, Loesch was no longer a Democrat, but a GOP hack, as mentioned in her Big Government blogpost that day.

  I had identified myself as a liberal my entire life, until this day. I had an early midlife crisis when I was around 19 years-old, when I began to think that I didn’t actually believe in the principles with which I was raised. I was raised by a very big southern Democrat union family. I was indoctrinated by years of pop-culture, educational bias, and family mantra. It was the only way. I did not vote for George W. Bush. I supported Gore. Even as I began to shed the beliefs of a Democrat, one thing remained: I still felt that America had a problem with the “military complex.” The only reason people were hostile to us, I surmised, was because they were intimidated by our military. I thought Bush was representative of this and it was the reason I didn’t support him.

  That belief was blown to hell on 9/11.

  “Thank God George Bush is president,” I blurted out in the middle of a furious sob. My husband, who was born wearing a Reagan shirt, looked at me with wide-eyed wonderment.

• She claimed that she had to "sit with the 3-4 years olds at the Thanksgiving table for being a Republican." (approx. 2:29).
• She stated that the St. Louis Tea Party movement started back in February 2009, when The Dana Show was just a Sunday-only show. (approx. 2:54).
• She repeated the "I am two steps above an anarchist" claim and is an advocate of Article I, Section 8 Conservatism. (approx 3:11).
• She repeated that this is the "biggest movement since the 1960's Hippies." Nope, Occupy Wall Street and anti-war demonstrations are bigger than the astroturfed Teabagger movement. (approx. 3:47)
• She mentioned her WPITW win. (approx. 5:00)
• She falsely claimed that "nobody watches Current TV." In fact, its ratings have increased since Countdown aired back in June, and it's adding The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur to the lineup.
• She stated that "our children and grandchildren are going to be subjected to a lower standard of living due to overregulations and socialism." WRONG, it's due to the GOP's policies. (approx. 7:39).
• She baselessly compared the Democratic Party to "a Socialist party." She also suggested that the "Congressional Progressive Caucus has overran the Democrat Party." (approx 10:19).
• She lied about theAnthony Weiner incident. (approx. 15:40).
• She falsely claimed that the "PPACA supports taxpayer paying for abortions." (approx. 20:12). She advocated for Violence at that rally.
• She baselessly stated that Betsey Bruce works for KMOV (CBS 4). No, Bruce works for KTVI (FOX 2), the same station that features the much despised by Conservatives Charles Jaco and the rising star Angie Mock. (approx. 21:19)
• She misleadingly claims that "the Liberals, Democrats, Unions are the ones that get violent." In fact, it's the Teahadists (and herself) that commit the most violent acts. (approx. 22:21)
• She stated that "Union Bosses are the scum of the Earth." Typical for this union-hating nimrod to say.(approx. 23:50)
• She made another phony claim that the "Democrats and Unions are against worker's rights." (approx. 24:17)
• She lied about SEIU bussing in people, when her cronies do the same thing and no howls from them there.
• She accused "the left of shutting dissent down." WRONG AGAIN! (approx. 29:18)
• She said "if you call me a teabagger, does that make you the teabaggee?" Baloney! (approx. 31:31)

The event was home to Andrew Breitbart's violence-laced tirade calling Janeane Garofalo a "Hollywood Sympathy Fuck" and others.

Also, one of the top organizers for TeaCon, Steve Stevlic, was NOT in attendance. Reason: he loves to hang out with hookers.

As maybe the largest-ever gathering of Tea Partiers commences in Illinois this week, congratulations are due to Mr. Steve Stevlic, the activist without whom TeaCon 2011 would be impossible. Stevlic is the head of the Chicago Tea Party, one of the con's primary sponsors. In the words of radio host and National Review columnist Mark Levin, Stevlic's "terrific." According to CBS, he's the "Democrats' nightmare."

But if you're heading to the festivities this weekend and see Stevlic in person, there's one thing you probably shouldn't bring up with the activist and family values man: his arrest for soliciting a prostitute last summer.

Stevlic describes himself as an ordinary guy; a good, decent family man with a wife, two kids, and no pretensions. His humility and ideological fervor have earned him friendly profiles at CTV and the Guardian, and quotes on Fox News and The Hill. At TeaCon, he'll spend the next two days shaking hands, buddying up with Herman Cain, Glenn Beck, Andrew Breitbart and the other assorted big guns flying in for the revelry, and making nice with the hundreds of Tea Partiers who've spent hundreds of dollars to come and be trained in grassroots Tea-Party-foo. It'll be awesome.

When confronted about his behavior yesterday morning, Stevlic told us to direct subsequent questions to his lawyer. He did insist that he'd never tweeted anything about Jackson being a sex machine, which is ridiculous, because, well, see for yourself on the right. (Click the image to expand.)

Oh, well. Stevlic also told us that he'd been convicted of nothing, which is true. According to the Chicago DA, all charges against Stevlic were dropped when Stevlic agreed to participate in a rehab program for johns called "Unhooked," which he did. Stevlic also told us, guilt or innocence aside, that he feels compassion for Jackson, and we're sure he was telling the truth about that one, too. We bet he feels tons of compassion, especially now. It's no fun to have your dirty laundry aired in public. Anyway — Happy TeaCon!

Herman Cain won the straw poll convincingly-- about 77%, but Jon Huntsman and Gary Johnson got blank, and even President Barack Obama got a couple of votes. Michele Bachmann was the closest at nearly 9.5%.

Loesch said, "I'm two steps above anarchy conservatism, just as it was intended by the Founding Fathers. I mean, really, that's really what we're supposed to be." In response, Beck said, "[W]hen you say we're two steps -- you're two steps above an anarchist -- and I think I am, too. I mean, I'm really closer to Washington than any president, even Reagan. They really were organized, controlled anarchists."

Beck's selection of guests primed the conversation to include fringe views:

• Dana Loesch The mistake CNN made in hiring Loesch as a contributor did nothing to repair her fundamental credibility problem -- she remains the editor-in-chief of Big Journalism, one of the websites created by notorious smear merchant Andrew Breitbart. It regularly promotes outlandish theories.

• Damon Vickers Vickers has popped up on Beck's show from time to time to talk about the same things he talks about when he appears on the radio show of fringe conspiracist Alex Jones -- one-world government and economic collapse.

• Steve Emerson Though often cited as a terrorism expert by the right-wing media, Emerson frequently makes baseless, sensational claims about Islam and terrorism. For instance, on the Insider Extreme anniversary special, Emerson claimed that Palestinian militants are in Mexico learning "how to dig tunnels that will evade detection in Gaza."

• Brad Thor Thor makes his money as a novelist and moonlights writing for Breitbart's discredited websites. Almost a year ago, Thor's "exclusive" on Big Government about Pakistan having captured Taliban leader Mullah Omar crumbled. On Beck's CNN Headline News show in 2007, Thor said of Iraq, "We need a dictator back in that country. That's all those people respond to. The Arab world is so messed up, they can't -- you can't give people democracy."

And they were like, "No, no, no, 'cause it'll cause a big government." But they pushed it out just a little farther to give it that stability.

But how is it that, in a generation that understands anarchy and revolution -- I mean, look at what YouTube is going to do to television. Look what YouTube has done to the music industry. You don't have to have a big record promoter.

LOESCH: Nope. Not anymore.

BECK: You make one, it gets hits -- you're a hit.

LOESCH: Right.

BECK: So, how is it that this young generation understands structured anarchy that is directly -- you are the source of power. But yet we can't seem to knit it together with that guy: George Washington. Because that's what he believed in.

My response to Loesches comments of "the Constitution does not say public employee unions could have collective bargaining" (I'm starting to feel I am repeating myself w/ all this constitution obeying crap): if you're (Loesch) all about following the constitution word for word, then you obviously wouldn't mind quiting your job, finding a husband, getting pregnant, never voting in local, state, or national elections again, letting go of your personal ambitions & devoting yourself fully to the raising & educating of your, & your neighbors, childrens. THAT IS, if you want to follow the Constitution word for word.

Politics, religion never mix in this dark comedy

Sometimes I feel we are all characters in a very dark comedy, but I am at a distinct disadvantage because I do not remember the past the way everybody else does.

Glenn Beck's recent Restoring Honor rally is a good example. This is the sort of event to which I would normally pay no attention. If Beck and his followers feel they need to restore their honor, that is their business. My honor is just fine. Or else it is beyond restoring.

The only reason I paid attention to Beck's rally was the participation of Tony La Russa and Albert Pujols.

La Russa is an interesting character in the dark comedy. In recent months, he's spoken in favor of the Arizona law cracking down on illegal immigration, and he's met with Beck and fellow Fox News personality Bill O'Reilly in the clubhouse. There are very few right-wing vegetarians. Throw in the fact that he is an animal rights activist and a resident of the Left Coast and you can see that he belongs to an exclusive club.

Pujols appears to be exactly what he seems: a devout Christian.

He talks about the I Have A Scheme Rally and is no fan of Glenn Beck or Bill O'Reilly, aka Billo The Clown. I am a Cardinals/Pujols fan, but they had NO BUSINESS being at Beck/Palin's Teabaggerpalooza at the Steps of the Lincoln Memorial at all!

On Monday night, I turned on the television to watch the Cardinals. The game was boring. I did something I hardly ever do. I hit the remote control to see what was on the next channel.

It was Larry King. One of his guests was Dana Loesch. She is a conservative radio talk-show host here in St. Louis. What's more, she used to write a column for the online edition of this paper. Her column was called "Mamalogues." It was very clever, and sometimes intensely personal. I remember when she wrote about pretending to be gassy so she would not have to have sex with her husband. But that was written with a light touch, and it was impossible to read her column and not like her. At least for me.

On King's show, Larry King Live, she was kicking a dead horse in the person of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Apparently, the day after the rally to restore honor, Beck had said that most Americans would not recognize President Barack Obama's version of Christianity. So Loesch apparently felt compelled to bring up Wright to shore up that point.

So Loesch was using the same old shit about Jeremiah Wright, most likely to fire up her fanbase into a tizzy. She is clearly a nutbag who's skills are berating people who disagree with her.

Tomorrow's Restoring Honor 8/28 Rally, aka "I Have A Scheme" rally held by Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin, will have 2 of the St. Louis Cardinals in attendance: Albert Pujols (who I admire as a player... politics, not so much) and Teabagging manager Tony LaRussa. Making matters worse is that local Teabagger hero (to some) and a villain to most others Dana Loesch will be there for KFTK and for PJTV, and so will Randy Tobler and Jamie Allman.

Beck's rally serves one purpose = bastardizing the legacy of MLK and his ideas.

Is Tony La Russa Slightly Evil or Slightly Stupid? -Updated

The Daily Show had a hilarious segment (even by their standards) the other day asking if Fox News is Evil or Stupid?
Now comes word that Tony La Russa is introducing Pujols at Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" rally in Washington D.C. this weekend, headlined by Beck and Sarah Palin (and being reported on by Dana Loesch for Pajama's media TV). La Russa absurdly says of the rally:

I don't know who's going to be there, who's going to accept it. But the gist of the day is not political. I think it's a really good concept, actually.

He also claimed that he would not have gone if it was political:

"I made it clear when we were approached: I said, 'If it's political, I wouldn't even approach Albert with it.' I don't want to be there if it's political," La Russa said.

No one in their right mind who has even the dimmest awareness of American politics could possible think that this rally, chalk full of right-wing speakers and held on the same date as Martin Luther King's "I have a dream speech" by a guy who said President Obama "hates White People" is not political. Which makes me wonder, WTF is going on with TLR? I mean, he's obviously not stupid, as he is widely regarded as a baseball genius. But could he be so completely unaware of current events and the nonstop litany of absurdities and offensive behavior from Beck that he honestly believes anyone would think that this is an apolitical event?
