Dana Loesch's defense of Islamophobia: #GarlandShooting edition

Dana Loesch's defense of well-known anti-Islam hatemonger Pamela Geller continues. On Monday night's edition of Dana, she hosted Geller to spew Islamophobic vitriol to TheBlazeTV viewers.

Geller then suggested that she'd love to hold "Draw Muhammad" events every month for the express purpose to spread Islamophobia.

From the 05.04.2015 edition of TheBlazeTV's Dana:

Tim Peacock at Peacock Panache has the scoop:
In the never ending quest to become America’s next Rush Limbaugh, Tea Party radio host Dana Loesch commented on Twitter over the weekend about the contest hosted by infamous anti-Islam activist Pam Gellar and the predictable violence that broke out at the event saying, “The left: Don’t offend one faith by drawing a cartoon but do force another faith to compromise their beliefs and bake cakes.” While it’s obvious Loesch has once again chosen to compare apples and oranges in an attempt to demonstrate smug political superiority, her logic doesn’t quite hold up to scrutiny – even by wacky far right extremist standards.
At the core of her statement is the false assumption that those on the left do not support freedom of expression or speech. Specifically, she assumes that liberals would not support someone’s right to depict an image of the Muslim prophet Mohammed.
This is absurd.

NRA mouthpiece Dana Loesch tastelessly smears daughter of slain Sandy Hook principal

Last night, in reaction to the Fort Hood shooting (the same place where a much more tragic version of such a tragedy occurred back in November 2009), deranged gun nut and NRA mouthpiece propagandist Dana Loesch tastelessly smeared Cristina Hassinger (@chass63), the daughter of slain Sandy Hook Elementary School principal Dawn Hochsprung, for calling out Loesch's repeated harassment of Moms Demand Action For Gun Sense In America founder Shannon Watts.

TBogg at The Raw Story has the story on Loesch's insensitive tweets directed at Hassinger:

Our winner for the evening turned out to be radio screech weasel, pee-er on dead people, and thing-that-you-would-get-if-Michelle-Malkin-and-Sarah-Palin-had-a-bile-child, Dana Loesch, who made Pat Dollard look positively artful in his Twitter Tourettes.
Christina Hassinger criticized Loesch on Twitter for attacking Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America founder Shannon Watts. Loesch did not like this, no sireee bob. However, the witty repartee did not go well for Dana:Screen Shot 2014-04-02 at 11.20.22 PMWhoopsie-doodle!
Of course, Dana had a chance to respond with, say: ” Oh wow, so sorry about you mother, you have my deepest sympathies after she died trying to save a bunch of children who are close in age to mine. God bless”…
But…no.
That would be  a sign of weakness that is reserved for people who aren’t  soul dead grifters pitching red meat stupidity to lowest-common-denominator  mouth-breathers who spend the day  listening  to hate talk radio, brought to you by reverse mortgages come-ons and male catheter come hithers.
Here’s your chance, Dana: be a human being, be a stand-up person, someone your kids could be proud of…Screen Shot 2014-04-02 at 11.31.28 PMOhhhh. So close.
When I pointed out on the Twitter machine (and I should note that both Dana and her sad hipster wanna-be husband both block me on Twitter, so she had to go looking for it) that she was being kind of a dick, well, guess who the real victim is now?  Go on ….. guess. I dare you…Screen Shot 2014-04-02 at 11.36.47 PMSTOP TWITTER YELLING AT DANA LOESCH , PEOPLE!

Moms Demand Action founder Watts correctly calls out Loesch for being a shill for the gun manufacturers:

Dana Loesch provides cover for supporting deranged bigots Ted Nugent and James O'Keefe

Today, Tea Party hack Dana Loesch is attacking Wendy Davis and Battleground Texas for helping out registered voters via BGTX. Regular Dana Show guest and video manipulator James O'Keefe baselessly accused BGTX of breaking voter registration laws, and Loesch defending his viewpoint.

Texas Tribune:
Battleground Texas strongly disputes breaking any laws and said a flap over its registration efforts has Republicans running scared. At issue is a videotaped conversation with Battleground Texas volunteers in Bexar County. It was gathered surreptitiously by controversial conservative activist James O’Keefe, who has sent people posing as interested volunteers to infiltrate Democratic or liberal activist groups, after which he disseminates video that was secretly gathered.
In the video, an unedited version of which The Texas Tribune reviewed, a Battleground voter registration coordinator is quoted as saying the group takes phone numbers gathered as part of the registration process. She said the phone numbers would be used to call the voters close to election time to urge them to vote.
“Once we register people to vote tonight, we will all turn in our cards and our data person will enter, not all the information, but name, address and phone number,” the Battleground representative says. “We can then call everyone here and say, 'Hi, I registered you to vote.'”
O’Keefe’s group, Project Veritas, which has been known to manipulate videos to make them seem more damaging to the people in them, claims Battleground broke state election law by collecting the phone numbers.
[...]
Battleground Texas spokesman Ellis Brachman said the group "fully complies with the law." He also took note of O'Keefe's controversial past, which includes a guilty plea to entering a federal building under false pretenses.
“Let’s be clear: James O’Keefe is an admitted criminal with a long and well-documented record of misleading attacks who is trying to make sure that fewer Texans are able to vote. The real story here is that Battleground Texas volunteers are patriotically working to get more Texans involved in our democracy," Brachman said.  "O’Keefe and his Republican allies in Texas are scared of our success and are doing everything they can to interfere.”
A Democratic election law expert, Buck Wood of Austin, expressed doubt that any crime occurred. He said the plain language of the statute makes it clear that the volunteer registrars are not considered to be county officials. He said the law was intended to ensure the government isn’t disseminating private information and doesn’t address what volunteers who get a phone number from a would-be voter at a county fair booth, for example, can do with the information.
The facts are this: BGTX did NOT break laws or commit crimes whatsoever, in contrast to what video manipulating huckster O'Keefe falsely said otherwise.

Pants-Pooping Draft-Dodging Phony Patriot Ted Nugent and Loesch have been closely connected together with vicious pro-2nd Amendment extremism rhetoric.

Her tweets that make tired baseless attacks on Wendy Davis and BGTX, while protecting and defending James O'Keefe, Greg Abbott, and Ted Nugent:

Hey Mrs. Liaresch, Wendy Davis has REAL Texas values, and not Nugent, Abbott, or you.

Just shut the fuck up, you right-wing anti-abortion asshole!

True The Vote is a voter suppression outfit, while Battleground Texas helps people register to vote.

Dana, abortion is NOT "female genocide," you anti-choice twit. And conservatives generally have very low respect for women.

Loesch smears Wendy Davis yet again... by defaming her as a "one-woman death panel."

Once again, rabid anti-reproductive choicer Dana Loesch is smearing Texas State Senator (and 2014 Democratic Party nominee for Governor) Wendy Davis for accurately stating that "pro-life" doesn't stop at the abortion issue, which pissed off the anti-choicers.

Tim Peacock at Peacock Panache:
Building on the article we posted late last week, Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis spoke to an audience at the University of Texas at Brownsville yesterday and for all intents and purposes redefined what it means to be pro-life. According to Davis, she is pro-life - but not for the reasons you think.

“I am pro-life,” she said to the large crowd. “I care about the life of every child: every child that goes to bed hungry, every child that goes to bed without a proper education, every child that goes to bed without being able to be a part of the Texas dream, every woman and man who worry about their children’s future and their ability to provide for that future. I care about life and I have a record of fighting for people above all else.”

“This isn’t about protecting abortion,” Davis continued. “It’s about protecting women. It’s about trusting women to make good decisions for themselves and empowering them with the tools to do that.”

Dana's stupid, childish, and insipid analysis on Wendy Davis's remarks:
So Davis isn’t “pro-life.” She’s for a life that meets her standards. She’s a one woman death panel.
No, Mrs. Loesch, Davis  is NOT a "one-woman death panel" for being proudly pro-choice.

More anti-choice nonsense from Dana Loesch: Texas edition

Here we go again. The odious anti-choice moron Dana Loesch is at it again on the topic of abortion, and it's regarding the passage of the bullcrap extremist bill HB2 that passed both the Texas House and the Senate (and is expected to be signed into law by Governor Rick Perry).

No, Dana, anti-woman extremism won with its passage. And remember that whether someone is pro-choice or anti-choice/"pro-life", they are all pro-baby.

Another swipe at Wendy Davis.

Who's instigating the #WarOnWomen? It's anti-choice asshats like you, Dana!

She also smeared progressive males as "irresponsible people" and derided them as "brochoice."
"Brochoice” is a term employed by progressive males who have paused from crushing beer cans with their foreheads to opine about abortion. Basically, it’s a term leftist men are using to excuse themselves from their responsibilities by encouraging women to forgo theirs.

Ah, here it begins. “Unplanned fatherhood.” The underlying premise of this piece, despite its presentation, is that the decision and responsibility is all on the woman. Heaven forbid the man help his partner access the choices before conception. To pay homage to the piece, if you aren’t ready to become a father before you’re psychologically ready and able to care for a child, you aren’t ready for sex, either.

Dana, you made a decision to choose to keep your babies, however, it does NOT (and should NOT) give you carte blanche authority to attack pro-choicers and feminists in a snide manner.

Rabid anti-choicer Dana Loesch smears Wendy Davis and protesters opposing Texas's proposed draconian abortion law

The deranged anti-choicer Dana Loesch is doing one of her favorite past-times: smear pro-choicers like Texas State Senator Wendy Davis (D) (whose filibuster was successful in delaying the monstrosity of the proposed anti-choice bill in Texas) and her supporters.

Rick Perry called for another special session, expressly to get the draconian anti-abortion bill into law.

The REAL facts about Texas's now-dead SB5 (likely revived in the new special session), via Andrea Grimes at RH Reality Check:
But this week, Perry added a sweeping anti-choice bill to the legislature’s agenda: SB 5, filed by state Sen. Glenn Hegar (R-Katy), combines the worst of anti-choice legislators’ proposed abortion bills from the regular session into a nightmarish document that would decimate Texans’ access to safe, legal abortion care. If passed in its entirety, SB 5 would:
  • ban all abortions after 20 weeks, with the exception of those “necessary to avert the death or substantial and irreversible physical impairment of a major bodily function of the pregnant woman” or if a fetal anomaly “will result in the death of the infant not later than minutes to hours after birth regardless of the provision of lifesaving medical treatment.”
  • require all abortion-providing doctors to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of where the procedure is performed.
  • effectively ban telemedical abortions, requiring doctors to provide the abortion pill (a mifepristol/mifepristone combination) in person and according to outdated 13-year-old Food and Drug Administration regulations that are not only unnecessary, but thought to be potentially harmful in current practice, according to the American College of Gynecologists and the Texas Medical Association.

Loesch's disgusting attacks against Wendy Davis and pro-choicers on twitter:

Texas's new draconian anti-abortion laws are NOT "common sense solutions."

Lying about polls again, per the course for this lying fucker.
Most Texas OPPOSE the draconian abortion law being proposed.

Abortion is NOT "infant genocide."

Abortion is NOT "baby murder" for the 240,000th damn time!

Loesch, yet again, uses the "Hail Satan" incident as an excuse to further bash Wendy Davis and pro-choicers:
While singing hymns outside the Texas state capitol pro-infant genocide demonstrators screamed “hail Satan” and angry invectives at pro-child demonstrators.
I don’t understand these progressive women, and I used to be one of them. I don’t understand the desire to place choice after conception. I don’t understand the opposition to high standards of care in abortion mills if your argument is predicated upon “making abortions safe for women.” I don’t understand how women can wear the logos and hold placards for abortion groups that lobbied for fewer restrictions on abortion mills, resulting in appalling conditions like what was found in butcher Kermit Gosnell’s house of horrors. I don’t understand these women’s mantra of “empowerment” when they seek to disempower younger women, viable women, simply due to age. This hot mess of hypocrisy, contradictions, irony, and screeching makes me wonder how on earth I ever, for one second, thought that these women represented my interests or the best interests of mothers, daughters, sisters, or girlfriends. Other women aren’t buying it, either. Davis hoped to climb up the dead baby ladder to political stardom, but after these events, polls show that women stand firmly behind Perry, not Davis. Let’s see: one stands for all women, the other only stands for women of a certain age. It’s not a difficult decision.

Wrong, Ms. Loesch, Wendy Davis is standing up for all women, NOT Rick Perry. She also falsely thinks what Kermit Gosnell did was representative of all abortion clinics. In Loeschland, "pro-infant genocide" = supporting reproductive choice, while "pro-child" = anti-reproductive choice.

The Washington Monthly calls out the wingnut complainers about "Hail Satan.":
As we speak the Wingnutosphere is aflame with allegations that pro-choice protestors in Texas are chanting “Hail Satan” to counter the hymn-singing of the pro-life godly. Once again, an appreciation of irony is not a strong suit for conservative activists.

Erick Erickson, Loesch's colleague at RedState, tied the "Hail Satan" chant to the DNC's alleged "booing of God."
